POS and cashier SaaS for Indonesian UMKM: quick checkout, live sales reporting, and stock management, sold in three tiers with API access and white label on the upper two.

The problem

Small retail businesses run on a notebook and a shoebox of receipts. They cannot see today's sales without closing the shop, and stock levels are discovered by running out. Cloud POS products assumed a company with a dedicated IT person.

What I did

• Built the entire backend in NestJS: resource-oriented services, validation, and the REST API that the React point-of-sale frontend calls.
• Modelled products, stock movements, and transactions, plus the reporting aggregates behind the live dashboards.
• Designed the API surface to support the paid Business and Enterprise tiers, including access control for API and white-label accounts.
• Kept setup to a minimum on purpose. A store starts transacting within minutes, which is the whole pitch to UMKM.
